GMR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

Established in the year 1997 under the aegis of GMR Varalakshmi Foundation, GMR Institute of Technology is a self-financing Engineering college approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by NAAC & an ISO 9001 - 2000 certified Institution, affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. GMRIT awarded as Second Most Clean Campus in India in AICTE Clean Campus Award 2017 on October 2nd 2017. GMRIT is ranked in the band of 151 - 200 at National Level by NIRF, MHRD.

Located in Rajam, Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh, GMRIT provides its learning community state-of-the-art facilities, infrastructure and a competent faculty. The Institute encourages collaborative learning between industry and academia as a means of reinforcing its curriculum with practical and real world experiences.

GMRIT offers UG & PG courses in Chemical, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Information Technology, Civil, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical Engineering and Power Engineering with well qualified and experienced faculty and sophisticated Laboratories.
